Product Description Hoover Widepath Tempo Upright
Amazon.com Review The Tempo WidePath features a 15-inch cleaning path for super fast vacuuming when you need it the most. Plus, the WidePath cleans indoor air while you vacuum, thanks to an innovative allergen filtration system that traps 100 percent of dust mites, 99.98 percent of ragweed, and common grass pollens for cleaner breathing and fresher air. A powerful, 12 amp motor provides ample suction and doesn't leave anything behind. Onboard tool storage keeps attachments, such as a dusting brush, furniture nozzle, crevice tool, and two extension wands in close reach. A smaller profile (approximately 33-1/4 by 18-1/2 by 9-1/2 inches) and lighter overall weight makes the Tempo WidePath easy to push, and easier to maneuver around and under furniture, too. And, your purchase is covered by a Hoover one-year warranty. Get a Tempo WidePath, and never get behind on the housework again! --Brian Olson

Great Vacuum March 8, 2010 J. Mottor (Baton Rouge, LA) Works great. Picks up anything on any surface. Lightweight, easy to operate and handle. It's not as quiet as some, but I don't mind as I don't use my vacuum 24 hours a day. The hose and attachments are surprisingly really strong. They pick up almost anything.
the best March 8, 2010 Christine C. Dalecki (Texas) We bought an electrolux several years ago but needed something that would vacuum floors. Consumer Reports stated that this Hoover worked well on non- carpeted floors. We bought it and not only does it work on non- carpeted floors it is great on them as well. Our expensive electrolux did not get all the dog hair but the Hoover was great!!!!!!!!!!
best vacuum cleaner ever March 8, 2010 Emily (NJ) This is the best vacuum cleaner ever. It lasts forever, the only thing is the hose, but you can get it separate, or you can buy the more expensive model, and the hose is great too.
Consumer Reports BEST buy! March 8, 2010 emma don (utah) Excellent vaccuum! Purchased after seeing it rated so well in Consumer Reports magazine. Excellent price for a great product! Totally recommend this vacuum!
Good Deal March 7, 2010 Amazon Fan (Sanford, NC) We replaced a 35 year old professional type vacuum with this one. Didn't try to compare them in any way. Only interested in a cleaner that picked up well. And this one does just that. Yes, it does have some design flaws. I have to agree with the other reviewers that the cord placement is too low. Easy fix was to fasten it higher up on the handle with a piece of electrical tape. Seems to me those that made such a fuss about the sound were exaggerating a bit. And, I haven't had any belts break yet, but ordered extas just in case. I tend to wonder if those who had that problem didn't have the setting too low to the carpet expecting better pick up. I will say I miss the headlight my old cleaner had. All in all I think it's a great little machine for the money. Do I think it's going to last 35 years? Nope. But, by then I'll most likely be pushing daisies, not a vacuum.
